(1) The Secretary-General shall forthwith notify the parties and,if necessary, the Chairman of the disqualification, death, incapacity or resignation ofan arbitrator and ofthe consent,ifany,ofthe Tribunal to a resignation.

(2) Upon the notification by the Secretary-General ofa vacancy on the Tribunal, the proceeding shall be or remain suspended until the vacancy has been filled.
