Preamble
CONVENTION ON THE BUREAU OF THE
EUROPEAN CIVIL AVIATION CONFERENCE
The States Parties to this Convention, hereinafter referred to as the “Parties”;
Acknowledging the role, mandate and strategic objectives of the European Civil Aviation Conference as defined in its Constitution and Rules of Procedure;
Recognising the role of the Secretariat of the European Civil Aviation Conference in supporting the activities of the Conference and ensuring the implementation of the decisions adopted by Directors General of Civil Aviation of Member States of the European Civil Aviation Conference;
Recognising the need for the Secretariat of the European Civil Aviation Conference to have a legal personality to efficiently fulfil its role with respect to the European Civil Aviation Conference;
Determined to establish a Bureau having legal personality to assume the role of the existing Secretariat of the European Civil Aviation Conference;
Have agreed as follows:
